Shannon will be teaching:
A Masala Lentil salad with cumin-roasted carrots. The sweet notes of this Indian spice blend balances beautifully with the garlic, ginger and a splash of apple cider vinegar.
Roasted Butternut Squash salad with barley and lemon-miso vinaigrette. Tossed with greens and toasted pumpkin seeds.
I am an avid cookaholic, who loves to make everything from scratch. I would like to teach people that feeding yourselves healthy, wholesome food is not as difficult nor as time consuming as you may think. With some of my time saving tips and tricks, you are guaranteed to learn a thing or two, whether you are a novice or you already love to cook. I feel that living in the Fraser Valley is a blessing as it gives us access to an abundance of beautiful fresh agricultural products.
