A Little Bit of Mexico - Sunday, Feb. 23 at 5:00pm
A little Mexico in the middle of winter is always a good thing!
Shannon will be making:
- Fresh guacamole and salsa with warm tortilla chips
- Tortilla soup with roasted corn and black beans
- Fish tacos with crisp jicama slaw
- Homemade tortilla demo
- Green rice
- Pickled onions - a demo, plus a jar to take home
- Tres leches cake
All classes include two glasses of wine, Perrier, or Italian soda, and run approximately 2 - 2 1/2 hours.
I am an avid cookaholic, who loves to make everything from scratch. I would like to teach people that feeding yourselves healthy, wholesome food is not as difficult nor as time consuming as you may think. With some of my time saving tips and tricks, you are guaranteed to learn a thing or two, whether you are a novice or you already love to cook. I feel that living in the Fraser Valley is a blessing as it gives us access to an abundance of beautiful fresh agricultural products. When you buy local, you support each other in the community as well as supporting sustainability on the planet.

No refunds. Can transfer the ticket to another workshop with a minimum 3 days (not incl. Sunday) before a workshop date.
