Bisou was founded in 2020, in Toronto, Canada with the goal to re-defining the tea experience. From day one our mission has been to ethically source premium loose leaf blends from reputable top suppliers and wrap them in a beautiful sustainable packaging using only recyclable, reusable and biodegradable materials.

The Bisou identity was born out of our passion for creating beautiful experiences. As founders, we value self-expression rather than perfection. The word Bisou itself comes from the French expression for 'kiss', a name that evokes the beauty of being in love, which is the essence that sparked the creation of Bisou.
