Cast Iron - Back to our Roots - Tuesday February 26, 2019 - 6:30 pm - 8:30pm (2hrs)
Durable, efficient, and endlessly useful, you will learn what our ancestor’s knew well. In this class we will learn about the proper seasoning, care and restoration of our beloved cast iron.
We will also learn to make:
Flaming Cheese Saganaki- This appetizer meze will cause you to yell OPA!
Skillet Cornbread- A light, slightly sweet cornbread with a buttery crunchy crust and served with whipped honey butter.
Filet Mignon with Mustard and Mushrooms- A rich beef and creamy, spicy sauce are a welcome melt in your mouth, one dish wonder!
Mini Camping Doughnuts- With a box of Crisco and a tube of Pillsbury Biscuits you will be the toast of the campground!
Skillet Brownies- Warm from the oven and topped with a scoop of ice-cream…..you’re in heaven!
