PEPPER contains five aromatic long peppers from the Indonesian island of Java. Java long pepper has its own distinctive character, but the familiar taste of traditional black pepper is also present. When seasoning your dish with grated long pepper, you will detect unexpected aromas of licorice, aniseed, and cinnamon, with a spicy sensation towards the end. Think of it as regular black pepper with a twist.
