    Andalusia is the region encompassing much of the Southern coastline of Spain. Andalusia's coast has unique access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, and culinary influences come from the historic Christian, Muslim and Jewish traditions of the region.

    On the menu tonight:

    Gazpacho with Garlic Croutons - A cold soup of Spanish origin, which is traditionally prepared with fresh vegetables and tomatoes.

    Mussels and Chorizo Paella - Paella originated in Valencia, Spain as a midday meal for farmers. The dish's history is rooted in the region's agricultural traditions and Moorish influence, and the addition of seafood makes this version more typical of the Andalusian region.

    Churros with Spicy Chocolate Sauce - These are deep-fried fritters coated with cinnamon sugar accompanied by a chili-chocolate dipping sauce.

    Two servings of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage is provided to each student.
     
    Class begins at 5:30pm, and will run approximately 3 to 3.5 hours.

    Bruno Feldeisen, Chef and author, is the judge on CBC's The Great Canadian Baking Show, currently in its 8th season.

    Born in France, Chef Bruno has more than 40 years of culinary experience in France, the US and Canada.

    Chef Bruno just published his second cookbook, The Bacon, Butter, Bourbon and Chocolate Cookbook.

    Tickets are non-refundable, but if you are unable to attend, please feel free to pass your tickets on to another party.
